This webinar showcases the next generation of Rogo’s item authoring and assessment design experience, highlighting the platform’s usability, flexibility, and focus on candidate wellbeing.
Hosted by Alex Ojabo (Customer Experience Manager) and demoed by Dilpreet Suglani, the session walks through Rogo’s redesigned content bank, test form creation and exam delivery screens, all of which have been built with the consideration of user experience feedback. It covers the range of Rogo’s question types that are currently available in the newly designed workflows and demonstrates our innovative split-view item designer with live instant preview and mobile-view testing.
For test creation, Dilpreet demonstrates a range of advanced configuration options including tags, live feedback, and psychometric P values (item difficulty). The demo then moves through the assessment delivery settings including grade templates, anonymous practice options, timer visibility, notepad options, navigation controls, screen randomisation, accessibility (with selectable high-contrast themes), welcome/summary/results screens, and LOFT-style advanced generation strategies using P values and tag-based content rules. Finally we demonstrate the running of a live candidate test to show how everything looks in practice including results and score-breakdown reporting.
Why should you watch? Highlights include:
- Modern, UX-led redesign: driven directly by real client feedback, not just feature parity
- Live split-view item authoring: with instant preview and one-click mobile preview. See exactly what candidates will see, as you build
- Rich, differentiated item bank: including a unique Dialogue Simulation type for realistic, branching scenario assessment (e.g. legal, client-facing roles) with forward-only answering to mirror real-world decision-making
- Accessibility and wellbeing features such as timer hide/show for anxiety and cognitive load, all native within the platform
- Psychometric rigor made simple: P values and LOFT/randomised generation strategies that keep exam difficulty fair and consistent across candidates
- Rule driven automated test assembly: tag-based content rules and a variety of quota parameters ensure compliance with learning outcomes
- Flexible, candidate focused test delivery: anonymous practice links, configurable navigation and notepad rules, and the ability to test-run any assessment in either draft or live state
- Actionable candidate feedback: results screens with score breakdowns by tag/learning outcome, supporting formative and practice use cases as well as summative exams
